Our Global Information Consultant served as Senior Oracle Developer and Applications Development Analyst (Advanced) on a team of twelve for six years. This is an ongoing maintenance project with goal that includes:
- Responsible for modifying, developing, designing, validating, and maintaining forms and reports as required by the business unit for MQA’s licensure system.
- Modify, develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code.
- Coordinate with Oracle DBA to ensure source control and version control for change management for all development tasks.
- Act as a key technical resource for the application.
- Critique and trouble shoot problems, evaluate enhancement requests, and provide time and effort quotes on enhancements.
- Implement enhancements to the system through user acceptance in a staging environment to implementation into a production environment.
Overview of project deliverables: This project involves in development, support and enhancements to the COMPAS licensure system application. Our deliverables will be based on the tickets issued by client.
Main technical skills utilized for project: Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports – versions Oracle 9i – 10g, Oracle SQL – PL/SQL procedural , JDeveloper, J2EE, Java, JavaBeans, Oracle Application Server, Source control and version control for change management, SQL Navigator, TOAD and RUP.
Project summary including outcomes achieved: We have developed new forms ad reports as per the requirement. Modified existing forms and reports according to the client requirements. Modified and added new functionality to the existing procedures, functions and packages.
